Battery replacement procedure

Vehicles or machines require the batteries to be replaced at some point, it is necessary to follow this procedure to maintain the proper functioning of the device.

For those equipped with a G-KEEP device, you must first activate the maintenance mode on the platform then disconnect the Keeper. Then proceed normally to replace the batteries.
Once the replacement operation is complete, and before connecting the Keeper, check the installation:

  • clean probe
  • Clean filling vent and outlet
  • Harness connections (probe and batteries) correct
  • Connect the Keeper
  • Check the reception of data on the up-to-date platform (date, values, tank reference(s) and probe configuration 1 and more if several tanks)

Reminder (or FYI): When the Keeper is plugged in and you receive backup battery level alerts below 30%, this indicates that the vehicle batteries may be failing or have dropped below a critical threshold.
